What makes the Eternity Heart different from other jewelry ?

Yes. An appointment can be arranged either in person or over the phone.
What is the difference between 14K and 18K Gold ?
14K gold contains 14 parts gold and 10 parts other metals, making it 58.3% pure gold. 18K gold contains 18 parts gold and 6 parts of other metals, making it 75% pure gold. 24Kgold is pure gold but is generally too soft for jewelry.
What is the difference between Yellow Gold and White Gold ?
The difference in color between yellow and white gold is determined by the metals used in the alloy mix. Yellow gold is made by mixing pure gold with alloy metals such as copper and zinc. White gold is an alloy of gold and some white metals such as silver and palladium.
What is Platinum ?
Platinum is a heavy precious grayish-white metal, but unlike gold it is used in jewelry in almost its pure form (approximately 95% pure). Considered to be more precious than gold or silver, Platinum is extremely long wearing and desired for its prestigious value.
What is the crystal made of ?
The crystal is made of a specialized single crystal Sapphire form of Aluminum Oxide. This sapphire is more pure and without flaws as compared its stone sapphire counterpart.
Can the crystal break ?
The crystal's exceptional hardness makes it very resistant to scratching and is unbreakable.
Do I have to order the chain ?
The necklace is optional. You may also choose to order a different chain.
Can I get the pendant wet ?
The Eternity Heart is water resistant but not water proof. Like all Fine Jewelry, it is not recommended to expose the pendant to water.
How do you confirm the contents ?
There are strict guidelines and procedural documentation used during the placement of the remains in the Eternity Heart. These procedures provide the mortuary, jeweler and families a guarantee with 100% accuracy that the correct remains are placed into the pendant.
What is the turnaround time ?
The average turn-around time is 10 business days. Due to the individual nature of the Eternity Heart this time frame could be affected by material availability and/or customization choices.
What are the different ways that I can customize this piece ?
There are multiple ways to customize the Eternity Heart (e.g. different diamond placement, laser images / wording on crystal or a completely different design). An appointment time can be set with our jeweler to discuss your desired customization.
What if I want to make another Eternity Heart at a later time ?
We can provide you with a hand-blown glass mini-urn that can store a small amount of cremated remains until you are ready to make another Eternity Heart in the future.
Can I do this for cremated remains that I have at home already ?
Yes. The process is the same. Just bring the cremated remains into the mortuary.
What is the size of the Eternity Heart Pendant ?
The pendant 1" in total height and 7/8" in width.
